Is Ladyfest Atlanta 2017 happening?

Sure is! Our 3rd year will be a all-day festival in September 30th 2017. RSVP on Facebook!

Who is organizing this?

How can I get more involved in the organizing process?

Join our Facebook group “Ladyfest Atlanta Organizers!”

Does Ladyfest Atlanta cost money?

All Ladyfest Atlanta events are 100% free and open to the public. We will have a series of fundraiser events leading up to the festival where donations are suggested. All donations collected during Ladyfest week will be donated to a TBA organization. Funds raised in 2015 were donated to SNaP Co, 2016 benefited Georgia Equality’s Youth HIV Policy Advisors’ Program.

Are men allowed to take part in Ladyfest Atlanta?

Yup, there are many ways to support! Men are totally welcome and invited to attend, volunteer, and promote the festival. However, we will not be accepting submissions from men to perform. This festival is for those who do not benefit from male privilege at every other event of the year.

I am in a band or group performance that has some men involved.
Can we still submit?

Yes! For example, if you were a writer or director submitting a short film, it would be acceptable to have male actors or crew involved. We ask that submitted acts/projects have at least 50% women or non-binary folx leading the project.

I don’t live in Atlanta, can I still submit?

We are currently accepting submissions from Georgia-based women and nonbinary artists only. It is important to us that Ladyfest Atlanta remains a locally spirited event.
